Project Overview:

Display Innovations was commissioned to create a striking, fully immersive digital experience within an Afro-Caribbean restaurant and lounge in London. The objective was to transform a dedicated corner of the venue into an eye-catching destination that would enhance the customer experience, encourage social media engagement and help attract new business.

The Solution:

We designed, produced, delivered and installed a bespoke immersive LED installation comprising a 3m x 2m LED floor and wo adjacent wall-mounted LED screens.

All three LED surfaces were precisely aligned and joined together to create a seamless visual environment, surrounding guests with dynamic digital content. A 1.95mm pixel pitch was selected to ensure excellent image clarity and detail, particularly given the close viewing distances within the space.

Working closely with the client, Display Innovations ensured that the installation complemented the venue and delivered the desired visual impact.

Bespoke Content & Immersive Experiences:

To maximise the impact of the installation, Display Innovations also designed and produced 10 bespoke video content experiences, allowing the client to transform the environment for different occasions and customer experiences.

Designed to evoke serenity, wonder and escapism, the immersive corner transports guests away from London and into some of the world's most magical destinations.

The content included a range of immersive settings and themes, such as tropical beaches, cascading waterfalls, tranquil island environments and Christmas scenes, alongside content specifically designed for occasions such as gender reveals and celebrations.

This enables guests to be transported into different locations and environments, with the digital floor and two surrounding LED walls working together to create a truly immersive experience.

The Result:

The finished installation transforms an area of the restaurant into a memorable, Instagram-worthy destination where digital technology, dining and entertainment come together.

The combination of bespoke LED hardware and professionally produced content gives the client the flexibility to continually change the atmosphere and experience for different occasions.

The result is more than just a restaurant feature, it creates an escape, an atmosphere and memories in the making, while providing the client with an innovative way to differentiate the venue, attract new customers and encourage repeat visits.
